We had so much fun fishing and canoeing in the Amazon. We caught some massive fish and even had a little race on the canoes which was a blast. The whole experience was just incredible, surrounded by breathtaking nature and getting to explore the jungle like real adventurers.
The only thing we wished for was a bit more of a party atmosphere at the lodge. It would have been awesome to have some music and a fun hangout area where we could have some drinks and dance with other young people.

The accommodation was basic but clean, the food was tasty and generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Spent a lot of time fishing and canoeing in the beautiful surroundings.
It was such a disappointment not to find a bowling alley or a spa at the lodge.

I recently stayed at Libertad Jungle Lodge for a few days as part of a unique Amazon rainforest experience. The lodge offered not just a place to sleep, but also a private guide who took us on excursions to explore the diverse landscapes of the rainforest. The meals at the lodge were delicious and introduced us to a variety of tropical fruits. We even had the opportunity to go fishing and have our catch cooked for us. Our guide, Larry, was knowledgeable and attentive, making our trip even more enjoyable. The staff at the lodge were fantastic, and it was heartwarming to learn that the money raised from tourism is used to support the local community.

Had a great time during my Christmas getaway in the jungle! the guided tours were amazing - saw so many animals in their natural habitat. Also enjoyed the variety of activities offered, such as canoeing and swimming in the river. the location was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful rivers. Definitely a unique and memorable experience.
The food and water provided at the lodge made me and several other guests sick. It was a major inconvenience and really put a damper on the trip.

This jungle lodge experience was absolutely mind-blowing! Our guide Gumer, a true Amazonian, made the whole trip unforgettable. The lodge offered a wide range of activities, from thrilling jungle excursions to fishing in the Amazon river. The village where the lodge is located is warm and friendly, with stunning surroundings and comfortable rooms. The food served, prepared fresh for every meal, was excellent and well-prepared. Thanks to Gumer, we were able to see and photograph incredible wildlife including monkeys, sloths, caiman, snakes, tarantulas. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our choice of stay. Thank you to everyone involved, from the staff to the locals, for providing us with such an amazing experience!

As women traveling alone, we felt very safe and comfortable at Libertad Jungle Lodge. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the location was peaceful and remote. The guides, especially Remigio, were knowledgeable and engaging, making our excursions informative and fun. The lodge supports the local community by investing in infrastructure and providing scholarships for children. The food was delicious and healthy, with a variety of options for vegetarians. We had amazing wildlife sightings and even got to fish and eat piranha. an incredible experience in the Peruvian Amazon.
Felt very well looked after, no complaints whatsoever.

I recently had an incredible experience at a jungle lodge in the Amazon. the lodge, located next to a local village, provided an authentic and immersive stay. Our guide, who was a lifelong resident of the village, had an extensive knowledge of the jungle and took us to see everything we wanted and more. We were able to enjoy the local cuisine, experience power limitations, and truly live in the wild. the lodge also made efforts to contribute to the community's development and provide educational opportunities for children. I highly recommend this lodge for an unforgettable Amazon adventure. Cons: Absolutely nothing 👍.
